...because one size does not fit all.
Liquidcode has been hand crafting user friendly, cross-browser compliant websites since 1997. From the small brick and mortar web presence, to the large corporate website, along with individual portfolio's, pro bono political causes and charities. I am also available for contract and consulting work.
I've worked with clients around the country and pride myself on producing clean, rock-solid websites that last far into the future—far longer than the browsers they were built for.

Client wanted a website that would detail the breadth, depth and scope of the companies international capabilities and experience. Specific data and charts were included along with various form invitations for readers to learn more. Liquidcode provided complete development from concept to live site.
This website was built with an intuitive "3-click" navigation. The design was to be simple, with no unnecessary distractive content. To offset the simplicity, pictorial enhancements were added using interactive flash clips to quickly show a line of products, or their capabilities and various features. BannersBanners were also used to spotlight various products. See multi-media for a few examples of interactive media.
The website needed to display all products and their specifications. In order not to compete with retailers, only replacement parts were sold online. Links were provided to retailers in the USA, Canada, and to online sellers, such as Amazon. The website also needed to feature new products, provide access to the extensive customer service department, and offer warranty information.
Instruction manuals, in PDF format, were placed online in three languages. Working directly with the Engineering department, Liquidcode authored new instruction manualsinstruction manuals and re-authored old manuals—incorporating both into a new, easier to understand format.
Artist needed an online presence to expand sales of her handcrafted one-of-a-kind jewelry. A responsive design was used to target all device sizes—from desktop to mobile and everything in between, all with one website. Liquidcode provided complete development from concept to live site.

Melanee Cooper Gallery
This highly successful gallery owner needed a online presence that would display selected works of her top artists, along with announcing upcoming featured artists shows and offsite gallery exhibits. This provided interested individuals the ability to preview and purchase pieces beforehand. The design needed to be clean and simple to reflect the gallery's own contemporary layout and flow. Website needed to be updated continuously as pieces were sold and new works were created, along with keeping up with the flow of artists coming and going. Email announcementsEmail announcements were used to inform subscribers of upcoming shows. Each announcement provided a few examples of the featured artist's artwork, direct links to the artists featured works and bio, and gallery contact information. Liquidcode provided complete development from concept to live site.
Dr. Paul V. Gallo D.D.S.
Client wanted a website that would not only announce the services offered, but also assemble as much information as possible about dental health. Links to more in depth studies were added as needed. Liquidcode provided complete development from concept to live site.
Client wanted a website that would showcase her photographs of Elgin and announce local exhibits of the same. The website pulled in details from the historic district to give a feel of the township.
This is a sampling of animated and interactive media created for clients. The interactive media samples require that you mouseover or click on the piece to activate them and they are labeled as such.
To browse the animations, mouseover each icon to see a snapshot. When you decide you want to view one, click on it's icon to initiate a popup window.
Once you have opened an animation, you can cycle through the others by clicking on the arrows to move to the next or previous. Most of the animations have a replay button if you want to view it again.
To close the animation, click the X at the top right of the popup window or click anywhere on the screen off of the popup window.

Working as both a contractor and an employee, I have 6 years of cumulated experience authoring instruction manuals and technical publications. Working closely with multiple departments within the company, I've created concise, image based instructional material using a fraction of the text usually required. This resulted in a dramatic reduction of costs for translation and printing services. ( See samples 1 and 2. )
When needed, research was conducted to author educational literature to increase customer success and satisfaction when using specific products. ( See sample 3. )
